Job Description

1. Job Title: Senior User Experience

 Location: Eden House, Spital Square

 Job Summary

Senior Information Architects at SapientNitro are responsible for the navigation, organization, interaction design, and business/user process engineering for leading-edge Web solutions, software, mobile and other interactive devices. This involves application of user-centered design methods to translate user needs, business objectives, and technology capabilities into world-class user experience for leading companies.

Key Responsibilities

•Evaluate existing sites in terms of their persuasiveness, emotional design, and conversion; assess properties for usefulness, usability, visual design, content, and branding

•Lead participatory design/user testing sessions; lead Information Architects in the sessions

•Identify and document meaningful patterns from the user research, audit the findings; provide recommendations to the client/internal team based on findings

•Lead development of personas/segmentations based on research findings; integrate personas/segmentations with related deliverables such as opportunity maps and wireframes

•Prepare, conduct, and analyse behavioral in-context research events

•Identify opportunities to create business value and improve the user experience

•Execute participatory requirements gathering sessions, participate in debrief sessions

•Conduct and analyze stakeholder interviews to understand key success factors for a project or pursuit

•Present concepts to clients and internal stakeholders with research and best practice annotations

•Assist in creating strategies for persuasive design with oversight and guidance

•Develop Navigation Model, Primary and Secondary Navigation structure

•Develop Sitemap with all levels as required

•Analyze task flows, task decompositions and create optimal Task Flow

•Develop frameworks describing key aspects of proposed experience, how it reconciles business/user needs

•Create prototypes using tools such as InDesign, Visio, Axure as required

•Mentor junior Information Architects towards client delivery and excellence

•Conduct periodic Knowledge Sharing sessions

Job Requirements

•Bachelor's degree required or equivalent military experience

•Degree preferred in design-related discipline: Interaction, Information or Interface design; Human-Computer Interaction; Design Planning; Graphic Design; Communications

•3-4 years of industry experience

•Well-versed in user-centered design methods and techniques

•Proficient to expert in: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Visio, Microsoft Office

•Excellent analytical and process-oriented skills

•Execllent verbal and written skills

•Experience in working on multiple projects simultaneously

•Ability to work collaboratively on multi-disciplinary teams

•Prior experience in a consulting firm or agency preferred

•Prior experience in UI design for mobile devices a plus

2. Job Title: Associate Creative Director - User Experience

Location: Eden House, Spital Square

As an Associate Creative Director, User Experience you will be responsible for leading, defining and shaping one of the largest UX divisions in the UK.

You will lead, oversee, and define best practices for the navigation, organization, interaction design, and business/user process engineering for cutting-edge digital experiences.  You will also play an active role in leading creative teams and in shaping new opportunities for SapientNitro, be it expanding current client relationships or forging new ones.

An Associate Creative Director must have a deep understanding of user-centered research, design, front-end development, content strategy, and brand strategy to lead multi-disciplinary teams in the development and production of quality creative solutions that meet client’s business objectives and goals.

Key Responsibilities

•Drive, oversee, and provide thought leadership in the assessment of existing sites/properties for usefulness, usability, visual design, content, and branding.

•Lead participatory design/user testing activities, as well as behavioural in-context and ethnographic research events across accounts.

•Develop and maintain relationships with key client stakeholders; manage client involvement in research and lead client presentations, workshops, focus groups and stakeholder interviews to ensure alignment

•Identify opportunities to create business value and improve the user experience (based on user research); organize opportunities into visually compelling matrices or maps.

•Execute and manage creative aspects of sales pursuits, including: shaping and responding to opportunities, proposal creation and oral presentations.

•Lead participatory requirements gathering activities, including the analysis and synthesis of requirements definition

•Oversee the development of user scenarios, ensure they respond to key user needs and illustrate key business opportunities.

•Drive the development of frameworks that describe key aspects of a proposed experience, and how it reconciles business and user needs; execute top-level deliverables based on user-centred design techniques.

•Lead the creation of visually compelling representations of the solution's high-level interaction, navigation, and organization design (i.e., concept models).

•Define and oversee the development of organizational models, affinity maps, sitemaps, process/screen flows and wireframes.

•Estimate, plan, and lead all creative work (across all sub domains, including Visual Design, Information Architecture, Content Strategy, and Interactive Development) in the development of a quality solution for small-to-medium size projects.


Experience Guidelines:

•Bachelor's degree required in design-related discipline: Interaction, Information or Interface design;

•Human-Computer Interaction; Design Planning; Graphic Design; Communications.

•Solid verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to all levels of clients and co-workers.

•Knowledge of direct marketing, online advertising, and web experiences, with proven conceptual and design abilities.

•Well versed in user-centred design methods and techniques.

•Must possess a deep understanding in related creative tracks: design, interactive development, copywriting and content strategy.

•Proficient to expert in: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Visio, Microsoft Office.

•Must have experience in a client-facing role and have project experience in working with teams on large scale, long-term projects.

•Excellent analytical and process-oriented skills.

•Excellent writing skills.

•Ability to gracefully handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

•Frequent travel may be required.
