Campus placement process of every company has some different steps for selection a good candidate. Many company take only interview many of them take written followed by interview.  JobLagao team share placement process of all company, Hewlett-Packard selection process has its own value and standard.

*Printers, scanners, digital cameras, calculators, PDAs, servers, workstation computers, and computers for home and small business use.
*Many of the computers came from the 2002 merger with Compaq.

Eligibility
Eligible Branches: BE (CSE, ISE, E&C), MCA
Eligibility Criteria: B.E / MCA CGPA of 7.75 & above (They don’t consider 10th%, PUC/Diploma %)

Package and Location
Location: Benguluru / Chennai

Salary Package
Developing: 3.4 lpa.
Testing: 3.2 lpa

Basically CS & IS students will be given as Developer and EC students as Tester. However, it is finally decided based on your performance during Training Period.

Interview Process
5 rounds of interview process and it will be easy.
Each round is elimination round
*Just a minute (JAM).
*Aptitude and Technical MCQs: Written (Not ONLINE).
*Technical Interview
*Managerial Round
*HR

Round 1: JAM
*You need to speak on any topic or they will give a topic for one minute only.
*Be confident and continue to speak for a minute.
*They will only see your confidence in communication skills.

Round 2: Aptitude
*12 aptitude, 8 Verbal and 35 Technical MCQs
*Out of 35 Tech, 15 from C, 10 from C++, 10 from DBMS.
*80% of questions were based on finding the output of the program.
*In DBMS it was to find the suitable query.
*Concentrate more on finding the output of code snippet.
*Aptitude was easy.
*2 questions from Speed, percentages and Ratio, 3 from Probability, 3 from logical (Passage).
*Concentrate more on Probability, Ratio and percentage from India Bix.
*Verbal: Synonym, filling prepositions, Passage.

Round 3: Tech Interview
Be calm and confident. Do not lie. If you don’t know the answer, say “I didn’t go through this topic”.

Questions were:
*Introduce yourself (Include your Projects and Achievements).
DBMS:
*What is Schema, Join?
*Query to insert delete n update table?
*Queries regarding aggregate functions.
Unix: ls, dir, chmod, chown related commands.
*Don’t Ignore UNIX.
DS:  WAP the 3rd largest number in sorted and unsorted array.
*Code for Merge sort, Binary search, quick sort
*Be specific if they have ask any alternatives for a particular code snippet.
*C program for matrix multiplication.

Round 4: Managerial Round
*In managerial, be confident on your projects what you have mentioned in the resume.
*They may ask you to write any one module on any one of the projects.
*They will ask you to write a simple program on generating prime numbers, Sum-Product.
*For us, they called randomly 2 students and we should find mistakes and efficient way to do that program of other student.
*If you don’t find a single mistake then both of you will be rejected.

Round 5: HR
*If you are selected for HR, Then 99% of getting recruited in HP
*You need to introduce yourself and your strength and weakness.
*Are you ready to work in any location.
*What is the best thing about HP, noticed from pre-placement talk?

Suggestions
*Do not hurry if you are not called soon. If so, they will definitely reject you.
*Be confidence and do not bluff.
*Managerial round will stress checking round.
