Since we don’t know what columns to display until the query is completed, you will have to generate the columns on the fly using ui:dynamic-pgl. You should form the PGL in your UI node pre-processing using X-Rules and attach it to your PGL using the ui:dynamic-pgl component.

Q9.Is there a recommendation on value of maxExportableRows?
The recommended setting is 1000. But we have seen cases where we have set maxExportableRows to 10000 with no problems. If this is set too high it can result in Out of Memory exceptions.
Q10. In my rule, I want to talk to two different databases. What is the best approach to implement this?
Each xserver that you run can talk to only one database. As such you cannot have one rule talking to two databases. But you can potentially run two xservers one for each database and then write a rule in first xserver that can call the other xserver rule to access the other database.
